PENGARUH CONVENTIONAL FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR PERBANKAN DI INDONESIA

This study aims to analyze the effect of conventional financial technology on the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2024. The research method used a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis and the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) on 10 samples selected through purposive sampling. Conventional financial technology is measured using a ratio indicator obtained from the number of ATMs issued by the company each year. The results of the simple linear regression analysis show that conventional financial technology has a significant effect on the financial performance of banking companies. However, the results of the test using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) show that conventional financial technology has no effect on financial performance. These findings indicate that the effect of conventional financial technology on financial performance may differ depending on the approach and estimation method used.
