Abstract

Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) is a strategic instrument for companies in supporting sustainable development through community empowerment. In line with this strategic role, PT Petrokimia Gresik, through its SER program, empowers communities by guiding CV Bangsawan Indonesia Textil, making it important to measure the social and economic impact to determine the benefits generated. This study aims to analyse the Social Return on Investment (SROI) in measuring the TJSL PUMK program of PT Petrokimia Gresik towards its partner, CV Bangsawan Indonesia Textil.
The analysis result show TJSL PUMK program generates an SROI ratio of 1:0,83, indicating that every investment of IDR 1 can generate social and economic value of IDR 1,0,83 for the fostered partner. The impact of the program is reflected in increased business income, production capacity, expanded market access, and the welfare of business actors. Although the SROI value is not yet optimal, the program contributes to improved economic performance, social welfare, and sustainable business practices at CV Bangsawan Indonesia Textil’s partner companies.
