Abstract

Introduction: The increase in the elderly population has led to greater attention being paid to physical and psychological health issues in the elderly. The physiological aging process is characterized by a decline in musculoskeletal and cardiovascular function, which affects physical fitness. This condition can limit
the ability of the elderly to carry out daily activities independently and has the potential to cause psychological problems, particularly anxiety. Anxiety in the elderly is often related to the fear of losing independence, physical limitations, and decreased social participation. Therefore, understanding the relationship between anxiety levels and physical fitness in the elderly is important as a basis for planning holistic health interventions.
Research Objective: This study was conducted to understand the relationship between anxiety levels and fitness in the elderly in Malang City
