Abstract
The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) brings significant changes in the field of education, with applications such as ChatGPT and QuillBot supporting learning and research. Although offering convenience and innovative learning resources, the use of AI raises both pros and cons. These differences in opinion shape individuals' perceptions of AI, which in turn affect their intention to use it. Individuals with a positive attitude toward AI tend to use the technology more frequently, whereas those with negative views show a lower tendency to use it. This study aims to analyze the influence of attitudes on the intention to use AI among students. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational research design, involving 430 subjects, consisting of 71 male subjects and 359 female subjects, with an average age of 21 years. Respondents in this study were obtained through convenience sampling, with the criteria being active students at various educational levels in Indonesia (Diploma, Bachelor's, and Postgraduate) and students who use AI. The results of the study show that students' attitudes have a significant effect on the intensity of AI use in daily academic activities (R² = 0.571, p < .001). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that attitudes towards AI influence the intention to use AI among students.
