ANALISIS SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT PADA EKSPOR KAPUK PT. LOKA FIBER INDONESIA

PT Loka Fiber Indonesia is an exporter of kapok fiber that faces delays in the flow of goods within its supply chain management, which affect the timeliness of deliveries to international buyers. This study aims to identify the root causes of export delays within the company’s supply chain management. The analysis employs a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method. Fishbone diagrams and 5-Why analysis are applied to identify the causes of delays based on five factors: manpower, methods, machines, materials, and environment. The results indicate that the delays are caused by the absence of standardized workforce competencies, unintegrated production and quality control methods, suboptimal machine maintenance, instability in raw material supply, and the lack of logistics risk management. Improvement efforts should focus on workforce standardization, refinement of production procedures, implementation of preventive maintenance, strengthening cooperation with suppliers, and better logistics planning.
