Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of legal protection for child victims of sexual violence by the Women and Children Services Unit (PPA) of the Malang Police and identify the obstacles faced in its implementation. This research uses a sociological juridical approach with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The research results show that legal protection has been implemented through receiving reports, investigations, medical
and psychological assistance, as well as coordination with social services, psychologists, and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency based on the principle of the best interests of the child. However, implementation has not been optimal due to the low level of cooperation between reporters and witnesses, limited child friendly examination facilities, and the potential for revictimization in the legal
process. In conclusion, it is necessary to strengthen an integrated legal protection system with a victim perspective.
