Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in mediating the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Blitar City. The research problem is motivated by the still suboptimal performance of public services which is suspected to be related to the level of employee job satisfaction. This type of research is explanatory research, with a population of all 44 employees of the Blitar City Population and Civil Registration Office, with a sampling technique using the saturated sampling method. Data analysis techniques use scale range and path

employee performance. In addition, job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). OCB has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and is able to mediate the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. These findings indicate that increasing job satisfaction supported by OCB behavior can encourage optimal employee performance improvement.
