Abstract

This study aims to identify logistics and transportation risks in the kapok fiber export process of PT Loka Fiber Indonesia, analyze the company's strategic position using the SPACE Matrix in facing these risks, and formulate appropriate strategic recommendations for logistics and transportation risk management. Risk analysis was conducted using a qualitative approach with a fishbone diagram to identify the contributing factors from internal and external aspects. Data collection was conducted through interviews, direct observation, and documentation using an interactive analysis model. The results of the study show that PT Loka Fiber Indonesia is in the Competitive quadrant of the SPACE Matrix, indicating that the company has sufficient financial and industrial strength to maintain and improve its competitiveness. The recommended strategies for risk management include logistics digitization, fleet renewal and standardization, strengthening relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, and improving human resource quality through SOPs and training. Understanding this strategic position is expected to help the company face operational challenges and support sustainable business development.
