Pemanfaatan Lahan TPS sebagai Area Penampungan Sampah dan Parkir Kendaraan di Kawasan Pasar Oro-Oro Dowo Kota Malang

The Oro-Oro Dowo Market area in Malang City has a high level of activity and is dominated by the use of motorcycles as the main mode of transportation. The main problems that occur in this area are irregular parking conditions and limited parking space, resulting in many vehicles parking on the roadside and disrupting the smooth flow of traffic. This study aims to examine the characteristics of two-wheeled vehicle parking, determine parking space requirements, and develop an integrated design plan between TPS and parking facilities. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach through field surveys to obtain data on parking volume, duration, and accumulation. Analysis was carried out on existing and projected parking space requirements, parking tariff determination based on operational costs, and parking pattern and circulation planning. The results of the study indicate that the use of TPS land as an integrated parking area is considered capable of improving parking order, reducing on-street parking, and minimizing conflicts between parking activities and waste management.
