Implementasi Metode Pembiasaan dalam Pembentukan Akhlak di SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu

This study aims to: (1) examine the implementation of the habituation method in shaping students’ moral character at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu City, and (2) identify the implications of the habituation method on students’ morals at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu. Informants were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through triangulation and peer debriefing.
The results of the study indicate that: (1) the routine implementation of the habituation method in shaping students’ morals at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu is carried out through various habituation programs, including the Fajr prayer program, the cultivation of polite and courteous behavior through handshaking, smiling, and greeting teachers every morning accompanied by positive affirmations, the Friday charity program, the Wednesday sharing program, the Tangga Kebesaran Allah program, Congregational Dhuha, Dhuhr, and Asr Prayers, and student speech programs; and (2) the implications of the habituation method on students’ morals include psychological, social, moral-ethical, pedagogical, cultural, and spiritual aspects.
