PENEGAKAN HUKUM TERHADAP KASUS TINDAK PIDANA KEKERASAN SEKSUAL PADA ANAK (STUDI KASUS DI POLRES PASURUAN)

This research aims to examine the implementation of law enforcement by the Pasuruan Police in handling cases of sexual violence against children. This study employs empirical legal research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews with an officer of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Pasuruan Police and supported by relevant literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the handling of sexual violence cases against children is influenced by several factors, including legal factors, law enforcement factors, facilities and infrastructure factors, community factors, and cultural factors. These factors are analyzed to assess the extent to which legal regulations are effectively implemented in practice. The findings also show that the Pasuruan Police have undertaken various efforts in addressing cases of sexual violence against children through both preventive and repressive measures.
