Abstract
The relationship between social support and resilience plays an important role in understanding how migrant students adapt to new environments. This study aims to identify the correlation between these two variables among migrant university students in Malang City. A quantitative approach with a correlational method was applied. A total of 390 migrant students participated as respondents selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) by Zimet et al. (1988) and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) by Connor and Davidson (2003). Pearson correlation analysis revealed a coefficient value of r = 0.596 with a p-value of 0.000, indicating a positive and significant relationship between social support and resilience. The findings suggest that the higher the level of social support received by migrant students, the greater their ability to endure challenges and adapt to academic and personal demands during their study period away from home.
