DESKRIPSI PERTUMBUHAN BERAT BADAN CEMPE DOMBA DENGAN PEMBERIAN CREEP FEEDING DI PT SEDANA PETERNAK SENTOSA

Creep feeding is an important feeding management strategy during the pre-weaning period as it plays a role in meeting the nutritional requirements of lambs and supporting accelerated rumen development and body weight growth. This study aimed to describe the body weight growth of cempe sheep with creep feeding at PT Sedana Peternak Sentosa. The research was conducted on 20 cempe sheep (10 from fattening pen and 10 from breeding pen) from August to November 2025. Both groups received creep feeding with the same nutritional composition. Data collected included feed intake and daily weight gain (Average Daily Gain/ADG), analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the average creep feed intake in breeding cempe (0.2842 kg) was slightly higher than fattening cempe (0.2837 kg). The highest average ADG was achieved in breeding cempe (0.071 kg/day) compared to fattening cempe (0.056 kg/day).
