ANALISIS PERAN ADVOKAT DALAM PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM ANAK KORBAN TINDAK PIDANA KEKERASAN SEKSUAL TERHADAP ANAK UNTUK MEMPEROLEH VISUM ET REPERTUM STUDI DI FIRMA PADEPOKAN HUKUM LESANPURO

Visum et repertum is a report document containing written statements prepared by a doctor at the request of an investigator. In addition to serving as valid documentary evidence for judicial purposes, visum et repertum containing the results of the victim's examination serves as the first step in the victim protection process in the form of victim recovery. In this case, the author analyzes the steps taken by lawyers to obtain a visum et repertum in order to achieve justice for child victims of sexual violence. The author uses an empirical legal research method, in which the author conducts research by directly observing the steps taken by lawyers to seek justice for child victims, as well as analyzing the results of the steps taken by lawyers in accordance with the laws and regulations. The steps taken by advocates to achieve justice for child victims do not only depend on one step to obtain a visum et repertum. In this study, the author examines other steps taken by advocates to maximize the victim's right to health recovery, starting with obtaining access to a visum et repertum, coordinating with the public prosecutor in the pre-prosecution stage, and establishing cooperation with relevant agencies. In this study, the author hopes that for the sake of justice for victims of crime, law enforcement officials will not only focus on punishing perpetrators, but also on fully realizing the recovery and protection of victims in the interests of true justice.
