PERAN ADVOKAT DALAM PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP ANAK KORBAN KEKERASAN SEKSUAL PADA PERSIDANGAN TERTUTUP UNTUK UMUM (Studi di Firma Padepokan Hukum Lesanpuro)

In the judicial process, child victims have the right to legal assistance and protection through closed trials in order to maintain their dignity and psychological well-being. However, in the practice of law enforcement in case No. 321/Pid.Sus/2025/PN.Kpn, the implementation of these rights has not been fully optimized. This study aims to analyze the protection of the rights of child victims of sexual violence in obtaining legal assistance in closed trials in criminal court practice. The research method used is empirical juridical research, in which the author directly researched and followed the resolution of the case in question. The research data was obtained through literature study and field research by examining the practices of law enforcement officials in providing legal assistance to child victims. The results of the study show that, normatively, provisions regarding legal assistance in closed trials for child victims of sexual violence have been regulated in legislation. However, in its implementation, obstacles are still found, including the formalistic understanding of law enforcement officials and weak coordination between relevant institutions, so that the right to legal assistance for child victims has not been fully fulfilled. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the understanding and commitment of law enforcement officials who are oriented towards the best interests of children in order to provide legal protection for child victims of sexual violence.
