Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing Islamic values in
the moral development of early childhood at TK ABA Pambon Brondong
Lamongan, as well as to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. Using a
qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through
observation, interviews, and documentation with the subjects consisting of the
principal (A), teachers (B1 and B2), and five parents of male students (C1–C3)
and female students (D1, D2). The results of the study indicate that the
internalization of Islamic values is carried out through the stages of value
transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization, with teachers
acting as primary role models and facilitators. Values such as honesty, discipline,
responsibility, and compassion are instilled through habitual practices of prayer,
worship activities, memorization of short surahs, and social activities. Supporting
factors for the successful internalization include a religious school environment,
cooperation between teachers and parents, and structured habituation programs,
while inhibiting factors include limited time, differences in family backgrounds,
and external environmental influences. In conclusion, the consistent, systematic,
and role-model-based internalization of Islamic values is capable of shaping the
moral character of early childhood effectively.
