Abstract

This study aims to analyze the manifestations of creativity among Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in improving student learning motivation and to identify the determining factors that influence this creativity at SDN Lido, Belo District, Bima Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, the principal, and students, as well as documentation studies. Data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation, while data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the creativity of PAI teachers is manifested through three main dimensions: (1) methodological innovation through the application of game-based learning, educational quizzes, and contextual Islamic storytelling; (2) optimization of adaptive learning media that integrates digital content (animated videos) with static visual media (prayer and manners posters); and (3) a personal approach based on emotional bonding that creates a conducive learning atmosphere. These strategies have a significant impact on transforming student learning motivation, as indicated by increased enthusiasm, active participation, and consistent interest in learning. Factors supporting teacher creativity include the instructional leadership of the principal and the organizational experience of teachers, while limitations in infrastructure pose challenges that trigger creative resilience. This study confirms that PAI teachers' creativity is a strategic instrument in realizing meaningful learning, especially in educational institutions with limited facilities. These findings imply the importance of developing teachers' creative competencies as an effort to improve the quality of contextual and innovative PAI learning at the elementary school level.
