Abstract
This research aims to examine and formulate strategies for integrating the values
of religious moderation into the Learning Outcomes (CP) of Islamic Religious
Education (PAI) in Elementary Schools. Religious moderation is an important
principle in shaping the character of students so that they are able to live
harmoniously in the midst of diversity. Through a descriptive qualitative approach
and literature study method, this study analyzes the normative documents of PAI
Phase C Learning Outcomes and related literature.
The results of the study found nine main values of religious moderation, namely:
1) Middle (Tawassuth), 2) Upright (I'tidal), 3) Tolerance (Tasamuh), 4)
Deliberation (Shura), 5) Reform (Ishlah), 6) Pioneering (Qudwah), 7) Love of the
Homeland (Muwathanah), 8) Anti-Violence (Al-La'Unf), 9) Cultural Friendliness
(I'tiraf Al-'Urf). The values of religious moderation have been proven to be
consistent and balanced/proportional and have become an integral part of the CP
PAI Phase C. The integration process is proven to be carried out in a structured
manner, based on regulatory documents, content analysis, and empirical
validation through class and semester level achievements. The integration strategy
has been carried out with a varied, contextual, and reflective approach. This is
proof that there is continuity between religious teachings, the formation of
moderate character and the challenge of social diversity.
