Abstract
The development of Flipbook-based learning media for the topic of cell division in Grade XII was motivated by the use of lecture methods, PowerPoint slides, and static textbooks, which had caused low student motivation and learning outcomes. Therefore, more interactive and engaging learning media were needed. This study aimed to develop Flipbook-based learning media on cell division at SMAN 5 Madiun. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consisted of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation results showed that the developed Flipbook media was classified as highly feasible, with a material expert validation score of 92.5% and a media expert validation score of 90.9%. The practicality test results indicated that the media was very practical to use, with a teacher response of 100% and a student response of 93.6%. The Mann–Whitney U test produced an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (<0.05), which indicated a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental group and the control group.
