Abstract
Twitter is one of the social media platforms favored by roleplayer world players. Through this platform, roleplayers can interact to form their own culture in the cyber world. Excessive exposure to social media can have an impact on individual life satisfaction due to the fear of being left behind when looking at the activities and achievements of other individuals. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and the life satisfaction of roleplayer world actors on the twitter platform. The method used in this research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The sampling technique used random sampling. The research subjects were 100 roleplayer world players. The measuring instruments used are the ON-FoMO scale and the SWLS scale. The data analysis method uses Pearson correlation. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that there is a relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and life satisfaction.
