EVALUASI PENAMBAHAN PREMIX A DAN PREMIX B PADA PAKAN TERHADAP KONSUMSI, PERTAMBAHAN BOBOT BADAN HARIAN, DAN KONVERSI PAKAN PADA SAPI BRAHMAN CROSS TIPE BULL

This study aims to determine the effect of Premix A and Premix B on feed consumption, Average Daily Gain (ADG), and feed conversion in bull-type Brahman Cross cattle. A total of 33 cattle with an age range of two years were used in this study, with an average initial weight of 371.6 kg for Premix A treatment and 372.7 kg for Premix B. The results showed that dry matter consumption in Premix B treatment was higher, namely 12.25 kg/head/day compared to Premix A at 11.97 kg/head/day. ADG and feed conversion values varied between weight groups, indicating a trend of differences based on body weight categories. However, the results of statistical analysis showed that the premix treatment only had a significant effect on feed consumption (P<0.05), while there was no significant difference in the ADG and feed conversion variables (P>0.05). However, based on the data, there are differences that can have an economic impact and production efficiency in the industry.
