EVALUASI PENAMBAHAN PREMIX A DAN PREMIX B PADA PAKAN TERHADAP STATUS KESEHATAN TERNAK SAPI BRAHMAN CROSS TIPE BULL

This study aims to evaluate the effect of premix A and premix B on cattle health
status and compare their effectiveness in maintaining and improving the
physiological condition of livestock. The study was conducted at PT. Kariyana Gita
Utama for 36 days after a 2-week quarantine period using a quantitative descriptive
research design. A total of 66 Brahman Cross bulls were used in the study. The
study used a colony pen with a tail-to-tail feeding system and sawdust bedding. The
parameters observed included the condition of the eyes, coat, nose, and body, which
were measured through daily visual observation to assess clinical health status.
The results showed that cattle fed premix B (E5) had more stable and better health
conditions compared to cattle fed premix A (E4). The E5 group showed a higher
percentage of clear eyes, shiny coat, clean nose, and active body during the
maintenance period.
