Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of the School Driving Program (Program Sekolah Penggerak/PSP) on the pedagogical and professional competence of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Babat. The findings from SD Muhammadiyah 1 Babat are expected to serve as a reference for other schools.
The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population of this study consisted of all teaching staff at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Babat, totaling 15 teachers. Data were collected through structured questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, supported by documentation of teacher performance evaluation results. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression to examine the contribution of PSP to each dependent variable partially.
The results indicate that: (1) there is a significant influence of PSP on teachers’ pedagogical competence, and (2) PSP does not have a significant influence on teachers’ professional competence. Although the regression analysis shows a positive tendency, it is not statistically significant (R² = 0.222; p = 0.076). These findings suggest that intensive mentoring and training within the PSP are effective in accelerating teachers’ adaptation to the Merdeka Curriculum.
