Abstract
The development of information technology has driven the transformation of the judicial system in Indonesia through the implementation of E-Court as a means of electronic-based administration and trial to realize the principles of simple, fast, and low-cost justice. This final project aims to analyze the effectiveness of using E-Court in cases involving the cancellation of a decision regarding the determination of the same name in Case Number 51/Pdt.G/2025/PN Mlg at the Malang District Court. The research method used is empirical legal research with primary data obtained through interviews and observation, as well as secondary data in the form of laws and regulations and legal literature. The results of this final project show that the implementation of E-Court at the Malang District Court has, in principle, been running and providing benefits in the form of administrative efficiency and ease of access. However, this effectiveness is not yet fully optimal because there are still technical obstacles, limitations in infrastructure, and low digital literacy among some members of the community. As a practical solution, the community and those seeking justice who encounter obstacles in using E-Court are directed to directly utilize the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) of the Malang District Court to obtain technical assistance and direct access to the E-Court system in an appropriate and efficient manner. The discussion in this Final Project is analyzed using Soerjono Soekanto's theory of legal effectiveness, which emphasizes that legal factors, law enforcement, infrastructure, society, and legal culture mutually influence the success of E-Court implementation. Therefore, this final project suggests the need to improve the stability of the E-Court system, strengthen technical assistance for users, and improve the digital literacy of the community in order to optimize the effectiveness of electronic-based justice.
