Abstract

This study aims to describe the collaboration model between the Shadow Teacher and the Akidah Akhlak subject teacher as well as the implications of its implementation in supporting the achievement of Akidah Akhlak learning objectives at MI Muhammadiyah 1 Pare. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving the Shadow Teacher, the Akidah Akhlak subject teacher, the inclusion coordinator, the vice principal for curriculum, and the school principal. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the collaboration model applied between the Shadow Teacher and the Akidah Akhlak subject teacher at MI Muhammadiyah 1 Pare is the alternative teaching model, in which the subject teacher acts as the main instructor for all students, while the Shadow Teacher provides intensive assistance to Students with Special Needs (SSN) through simplifying learning materials, adjusting instructional strategies, and reinforcing religious behavior. The implications of implementing this collaboration model are reflected in the increased active participation of Students with Special Needs in learning activities, the development of religious attitudes and social skills, and the achievement of Akidah Akhlak learning objectives in accordance with the abilities and characteristics of Students with Special Needs.
