Abstract
The results of the researcher's initial observations found problems related to the models and media used by teachers in grade V. During learning activities, teachers used a blackboard and accompanying books. There were no media and games during learning. So that learning became more tense and did not attract students' attention.
Therefore, the researcher provided a solution to use more interesting learning models and media. So that students are confident and actively involved during learning activities. This study aims to describe the implementation of the TGT model assisted by the Genially application to increase self-confidence, involvement, and mathematical problem-solving abilities of elementary school students. The research approach used was qualitative with descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were 18 fifth-grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Bawean Elementary School, namely
10 male students and 8 female students. The study was conducted over 3 meetings. Data collection techniques in this study were observation sheets and tests. The observation sheet was used to obtain data on the implementation of the TGT learning
model assisted by Genially, self-confidence, and involvement. The test sheet was used to determine students' problem-solving abilities. Data were analyzed using a Likert scale and then adjusted to the category table for each variable. Data on the implementation of Genially Assisted TGT showed that self-confidence, involvement, and problem-solving skills increased at each meeting. Data on the implementation of Genially Assisted TGT observed from the teacher's ability to manage learning in the classroom obtained a score of 78% in the good category, and student activity 75% in the good category. In the observation of self-confidence, with an average of 57% in the moderate category. Student involvement with an average of 52% in the moderate category. Students' problem-solving abilities in answering test questions varied. Meanwhile, student test results with an average of 79% in the moderate category.
