Abstract
The results of observations and interviews with researchers found that there is material in biology lessons that is often considered difficult by students, namely the excretory system. This may be due to the material's complex concepts and processes, as well as inadequate teaching materials. To support the availability of learning resources tailored to students' needs, interactive STEM-based electronic modules were developed. Interactive electronic modules can increase learning interest, while the implementation of STEM can prepare students for the 21st century. This study aims to develop an interactive electronic module based on STEM for the excretory system material for grade XI of high school. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research type with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validation was carried out by media experts, material experts and language experts, practitioner experts and student response questionnaires. The results of the validation test for validity from media experts were (97.5%) with the category of "very valid", material experts were (95.6%) with the category of "very valid", and language experts were (91%) with the category of "very valid". The average results of the validity results of media, material, and language experts showed that the interactive electronic module based on STEM was (94.6%) which was included in the category of "very valid". The results of the practicality test of teacher responses showed that the interactive electronic module based on STEM obtained a score of (95%) with the category of "very practical", and student responses obtained a score of (93%) with the category of "very practical". Based on the results of the validation and practicality analysis, it was concluded that the STEM-based interactive electronic module for the excretory system material for class XI in high school was declared very valid and very practical so that the module was suitable for use in the Biology learning process for the excretory system material for class XI in high school.
