Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Quantum Teaching model in Fiqh learning and to analyze the use of the Quantum Teaching model in Fiqh learning at MTs Muhammadiyah 21 Wedung, Lamongan Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design and is conducted at MTs Muhammadiyah 21 Wedung, Lamongan, Indonesia. The informants consist of the headmaster of MTs Muhammadiyah 21, identified by the initial K; the vice principal of curriculum, identified by the initial W; the Fiqh teacher, identified by the initial G; and four students, including two male students identified by the initials D1 and D2, and two female students identified by the initials E1 and E2. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique follows the interactive model by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2015), which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings reveal that Fiqh learning implementation through Quantum Teaching promotes an enjoyable, meaningful, and in-depth learning experience by fostering a positive classroom environment, connecting the learning materials with students’ real-life experiences, providing opportunities for collaborative activities, and delivering constructive feedback. The implications indicate that students become more active, enthusiastic, and demonstrate improved understanding of Fiqh learning materials.
