STRATEGI INTERNALISASI NILAI-NILAI TASAMUH DALAM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMA NEGERI 1 BATURETNO WONOGIRI

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategy for internalizing tolerance values and the implications of internalizing tolerance values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Negeri 1 Baturetno. The approach used was qualitative with a case study. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the process of internalizing tolerance values at SMA Negeri 1 Baturetno was implemented through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and various integrated school programs. PAI teachers implemented interesting and contextual learning strategies, such as lectures, role models, direct practice, group discussions, and project assignments, so that students could understand, internalize, and practice the values of tolerance in everyday life. The internalization process takes place through three stages, namely understanding concepts, internalizing values, and practicing them through school activities. School programs such as Character Fridays (Sranti Friday, Sareng Friday, Sigrak Friday, and Srengenge Friday), as well as Kijang activities (Afternoon Study) and various religious agendas, are effective means of fostering mutual respect among students. The implementation of these programs has a positive impact on changing the mindset and behavior of students, making them accustomed to being tolerant, living in harmony, and respecting differences. The value of tasamuh has finally developed into a unique school culture, with a positive influence that extends to the family and community environment.
