PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN MAHFUDZAT TERHADAP PENGUATAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS DAN DISIPLIN SANTRI (STUDI DI PONDOK PESANTREN DAARUL UKHUWWAH PUTRI 2 DAN PONDOK MODERN BABUSSALAM AL-FIRDAUS)

This study aims to analyze the influence of Mahfudzat learning on the strengthening of religious character and student discipline in two Islamic boarding schools: the Daarul Ukhuwwah Putri 2 Singosari Islamic Boarding School and the Babussalam Al-Firdaus Karangploso Modern Boarding School. The approach used is a quantitative comparative association study employing an ex post facto design. The research sample comprised 100 students, selected proportionally from both institutions. The data collection instrument employed a closed-ended questionnaire with a Likert scale, and the data were analyzed using simple linear regression and moderated regression. The study results indicate that learning Mahfudzat significantly affects students' religious character and discipline. The results of the moderation regression test showed a significant difference in the effect on religious character between the two Islamic boarding schools (H3), with p < 0.05. Meanwhile, the results of the moderation regression test showed no significant difference in the effect of Mahfudzat learning on the strengthening of student discipline (H4) between the two Islamic boarding schools, with a significance value of 0.755 (Sig > 0.05). This study implies that Mahfudzat learning is an effective medium for shaping students' character, particularly in terms of religiosity, and is relevant to the Islamic value-based education system. This research makes a theoretical and practical contribution to the development of a contextual and applicative pesantren-based character curriculum.
