Abstract
This study aims to examine how Islamic educational values are implemented in campus life to address mental health issues among students in Malang City. The background of this study is based on the increasing cases of stress, anxiety, and psychological distress among students, as well as the need for a spiritual approach as an alternative solution. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted at Brawijaya University, Malang State University, and Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Data were collected through Hasil observation, in-depth interviews with students, lecturers, spiritual mentors, and campus counselors, as well as supporting documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results show that Islamic educational values are implemented through the practice of worship such as prayer, dhikr, and reading the Quran, religious mentoring activities, and spiritual-based counseling services. These practices help students calm their minds, reduce anxiety, and improve their focus on learning. The values of patience and tawakkul (trust) serve as effective coping mechanisms, while social support based on brotherhood (ukhuwah) strengthens a sense of connectedness and mental resilience. observasitacles that emerged included low spiritual literacy among some students, stigma surrounding mental health issues, and intense academic demands. This study concluded that Islamic educational values significantly contribute to maintaining students' mental health. Further research is recommended to develop a more structured and measurable Islamic counseling model.
