Abstract

This study, titled "Implementation of Learning Management System (LMS) Applications in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Subjects for the Zillennial Generation at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarsari," aims to describe in depth the LMS implementation process and analyze its pedagogical implications for increasing the interest and comprehension of Zillennial students in PAI. The primary research problem addressed in this study focuses on how the LMS application is implemented in PAI learning and its implications for enhancing the interest and understanding of Zillennial student.Regarding the approach and research method, this study is classified as field research with a phenomenological qualitative approach, utilizing data collection triangulation techniques that include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation review, analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model.The results of the discussion and conclusion indicate that the implementation of a Google Classroom-based LMS successfully reconstructed the physical classroom paradigm into a hybrid classroom, with the teacher's role transforming into a digital learning architect4. The significance of this implementation is manifested in the escalation of student learning interest through visual and personalized approaches that are coherent with the characteristics of the Zillennial Generation. Furthermore, the LMS strengthens students' conceptual understanding through content repetition mechanisms (replayability), precise feedback provision, and facilitates the social construction of knowledge within an inclusive digital dialectical space.
