Perencanaan Pipa Transmisi Air Baku: Intake Linuh - IPA Bungur PDAM Kabupaten Tapin

Bungur Intake takes water from the Tapin River to fulfill the raw water supply for the Bungur Water Treatment Plant (IPA) of Tapin Regency PDAM. The condition of the quality and fluctuation of the river water level at Bungur Intake causes the supply of raw water to be often disrupted during the dry season. With the construction of the Tapin Dam, the Bungur Water Treatment Plant is planned as a raw water treatment center to further supply clean water needs in most areas of Tapin Regency. Thus there is an increase in raw water demand both due to the addition of service areas and projected population growth. The installed capacity of Bungur IPA in 2019 is 210 l/dt with an operating capacity of 170 l/dt where there is a residual capacity of 30 l/dt. Based on the expansion of the service area and projected population growth, it is estimated that in the next 40 years the raw water demand that must be provided by Bungur IPA is 500 l/dt. To improve service, the raw water transmission system is planned by moving the intake upstream of the Tapin River, namely at Bendung Linuh, while the transmission pipeline network is planned to be built in stages using the two transmission lines method. The capacity of each transmission line is planned based on the raw water needs of the additional service area and projected population growth.
