Abstract
Landslides, also known as mass movements of soil, rocks, or a combination of both, frequently occur on natural or man-made slopes. This natural phenomenon seeks a new equilibrium due to disturbances or factors that influence and cause a reduction in shear strength and an increase in shear stress within the soil. Landslides occur due to soil movement. The landslide event at ROW 22 Bukit Melia, Citra Indah City, Bogor, with a slope height of 8.5 meters, necessitates a study on landslide control structures. The design calculations are determined by the slope stability value. The planning of landslide control structures offers alternative solutions, such as the use of geotextiles or the installation of micropiles. The required geotextile type STABILENKA 1000/100 involves using 6 layers with a width of 2 meters (3 layers) spanning 8 meters, 1 meter (2 layers) spanning 7.75 meters, and 0.5 meters (1 layer) spanning 7.5 meters, according to the slope height of 8.5 meters and the landslide area length of 22 meters. The alternative use of micropiles involves 5 piles with a span distance of 2 meters, using micropiles with specifications of 30 x 30 cm. The use of geotextiles and the micropile formation can provide a safety factor that meets the requirements, especially with the transverse direction micropile formation playing a crucial role.
