Abstract

Parliamentary debate activities oblique people to be more critical in terms of analyzing something to be debated. Everyone that opt in into debating worlds has a different motive about why they chose to opt in into the parliamentary debating circuit. Researcher is an active debater that's still acting into debating competitions. The purpose is to show the dynamics of critical thinking under the debate context. The research is conducted using autobiography and narrative study, where the researcher becomes a writer and also the primary resources of information in this research. Databases are taken from personal documents and passed through a process of tacit knowledge. The collected data are rearranged into a step of thinking to picturize the act of critical thinking that exists within the career of researcher becoming a debater. Throughout the preparation of going to the competition, researchers spend his time practicing, gaining new knowledge and connection, and learning new things that have never been learned or perceived as taboo in society. researchers recommend the University students that wanted to opt in and become a parliamentary debater to manage his time so that students could balance their time for academic and non-academic activities like debating.
