Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital learning medium in the form of an electronic Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model for the topic of biodiversity in Grade VII IPA classes. The media is designed as an interactive flipbook to support contextual, collaborative, and reflective learning aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. The development process follows the ADDIE model up to the Development stage and does not include the implementation phase due to limitations in scope and number of trial subjects. Validation by content and media experts resulted in a very high feasibility score, averaging 94.76%. A limited practicality test was conducted with 15 students and one IPA teacher, yielding scores of 95.83% from the teacher and 85.00% from students. The media encourages analytical (C4), evaluative (C5), and creative (C6) thinking through five stages of the PBL syntax. The findings indicate that the developed electronic LKPD is feasible and holds initial potential for use in IPA learning that emphasizes problem-solving and HOTS in a contextual framework.
