Abstract
This research is motivated by the need for a platform that can support children with autism in marketing their artwork while also providing convenience for parents to monitor their children’s development. The problem formulation focuses on developing an application that is not only appealing to autistic children but also functions effectively in facilitating the buying and selling of their artwork.
The aim of this study is to design and test an application prototype using the UX Journey method in order to gain a deeper understanding of user needs. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and direct observations, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. In addition, A/B Testing was conducted to compare the application design of competitors with the proposed design solution.
Evaluation of the design solution was carried out using Acceptance Criteria combined with the UX Journey method to ensure that the application is able to optimally meet user needs. The results indicate that the developed application design offers features that are attractive and aligned with the needs of autistic children. The application also makes it easier for parents to monitor their children's progress and activities.
Based on the testing results, the proposed application is considered effective in increasing the engagement of autistic children in creative activities while simplifying the process of buying and selling their artwork. This study concludes that the development of an application based on the UX Journey not only supports the creative activities of autistic children but also provides a positive impact on the user experience for both children and parents.
