Abstract

In the modern industrial era, risk management plays a crucial role in maintaining the continuity and efficiency of production processes. This study aims to analyze and manage risks in the feather meal concentrate production process at CV. Bintang Biru Gemilang by applying the ISO 31000 standard as a risk management framework and the Monte Carlo Simulation method as a quantitative analysis tool to address the uncertainty of raw material prices. This research employs a descriptive approach with both qualitative and quantitative methods. Primary data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from company records of raw material prices. The results identified 23 types of risks classified into four main categories: operational, strategic, financial, and external. The findings show that the most dominant risks arise from operational factors such as delays in raw material supply, machine failure, and drying inefficiency due to weather conditions. By implementing ISO 31000, the company can identify, analyze, and evaluate risks in a structured manner, while the Monte Carlo Simulation predicts feather price fluctuations based on probabilistic distributions. The simulation achieved an average prediction accuracy of 88%, with stable price values ranging between IDR 2,800 and IDR 3,800 per kilogram.
