Abstract

Work-life balance is an important issue for mining employees as it relates to productivity and personal well-being. Social support is considered one of the factors that may influence work-life balance. This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and work-life balance among exploration employees of PT Indonesia Carbon Energy. The research employed a quantitative correlational approach with a total sampling technique. The instruments used were the Work-Life Balance Scale and the Social Support Scale, and data were analyzed using Pearson correlation with SPSS 30. The results showed no significant relationship between social support and work-life balance (r = -0.025; p = 0.802). This indicates that although employees reported high levels of social support, it did not directly affect their ability to balance work and personal life.
