Abstract

Physical conditions in children with disabilities may influence how they interact and maintain attention during classroom learning activities. One alternative to support their learning process is through a project-based approach using PARI (Sensorimotor Board) media, which is designed to provide a multisensory experience. This product aims to explore the potential of PARI media in improving the learning concentration of children with special needs at SDN Junrejo 01 Batu City. The subjects consisted of three children with physical disabilities, namely two with cerebral palsy and one with physical impairment. Data were collected using a behavioral checklist during the baseline phase, four intervention sessions, and a follow-up phase. The results of the intervention showed changes in learning behavior among the three subjects, indicated by increased focus, engagement, and ability to follow instructions after using the media. Through the multisensory experience provided by textured letters (smooth and rough surfaces), PARI media played a role in gradually supporting children to develop attention and learning concentration in an inclusive school environment.
