Abstract

Background: Acute Myocardial Infarction (IMA) is a major cardiovascular
problem that contributes significantly to the number of illnesses and deaths, both
globally and in Indonesia. This disease occurs due to the formation of thrombus in
ruptured atherosclerotic plaques, causing a cessation of coronary blood flow and
causing myocardial ischemia. Clinical manifestations are generally typical chest
pain, changes in the ECG picture, as well as an increase in cardiac enzymes.
Objective: To identify drug administration patterns in patients with acute
myocardial infarction and to analyze the relationship between clinical
manifestations, laboratory data results and drug therapy received by patients with
acute myocardial infarction.
Method: This study uses an observational method with a descriptive approach and
retrospective data collection from the period January-June 2024.
Results and Conclusions: Anticoagulants are used only at 110 (100%). There was
a switch pattern in 6 patients (2%).
