Abstract

The micro-business services at DISKOPINDAG Kota Malang play a crucial role in fostering micro-business actors, including the Micro-Business Mentoring Service, Micro-Business Training, and Business Clinic services. However, the existing service processes are still inefficient, involving manual registration, document transfers, and prolonged approval times. This condition highlights the need to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes. This study aims to redesign the existing business processes for better optimization by applying the Business Process Reengineering (BPR) method. The process analysis was conducted based on ASME standards and throughput efficiency testing. The results show that the initial efficiencies were 51.1% for the Micro-Business Mentoring Service, 51.9% for the Micro-Business Training, and 53.17% for the Business Clinic. After redesigning through elimination and automation, all three services achieved 100% efficiency, accompanied by a significant reduction in process time.
