Abstract
his study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership on organizational commitment with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT Soerabaja Printing Indonesia. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 54 employees representing the entire population through a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the descriptive analysis show that transformational leadership is categorized as highly transformational, job satisfaction is categorized as very satisfied, and organizational commitment is categorized as very high. The hypothesis testing results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment and also a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction positively and significantly influences organizational commitment. The mediation analysis reveals that job satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment. These findings suggest that highly effective transformational leadership enhances employees’ job satisfaction, which in turn strengthens their commitment to the organization.
