Abstract
This study aims to describe and analyze the process model of core values formation at Al-Ibrah Gresik Integrated Islamic Junior High School, as well as to describe and analyze the implications of the Core Values model on positive culture at Al-Ibrah Gresik Integrated Islamic Junior High School. The paradigm in this study is constructivism, with a qualitative approach. The type of research uses a case study and data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. While the validity of the data is in the form of data triangulation. The analysis technique is descriptive with stages of planning, design, preparation related to data collection, analysis and preparation of reports. This study produces (1) The Core Values Formation Model at Al-Ibrah Gresik Integrated Islamic Junior High School is divided into 3 stages of planning, implementation, evaluation and monitoring. This process makes Al-Ibrah (trustworthy, loyal, inspiring, fit, responsive, adaptive and humanist) as core values. Al-Ibrah became the foundation for the school in realizing the school's global vision. (2) The implications of core values on positive culture at Al-Ibrah Gresik Integrated Islamic Junior High School are very significant, this is because core values as a foundation become guidelines for school residents in achieving goals. From these guidelines becoming habits in the implementation of school programs, this ultimately becomes a positive culture that is implemented for the school. The implications of core values on positive culture run through several stages starting from understanding core values in schools, integrating core values in school activities, building role models and a positive school culture based on core values, and evaluating and strengthening positive culture in schools. Positive culture at SMPIT as an implication of core values is the formation of a visionary spirit, global achievement, global thinking, noble character and usefulness.
