PERAN PENYULUH PERTANIAN DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KELOMPOK TANI DI DESA SORIUTU KECAMATAN MANGGALEWA KABUPATEN DOMPU

This research aims to identify the role of agricultural extension workers and analyze the influence of their role on the development of farmer groups in Soriutu Village, Manggelewa District, Dompu Regency. Practically, the results of this research are useful as input for relevant agencies regarding the effectiveness of extension workers' roles in advancing farmer groups. This research uses a combination of descriptive and causal designs. The population consists of 126 farmers, and a sample of 96 people was selected for the study using Slovin's formula. Data was collected thru questionnaires and analyzed using regression analysis, including T-tests and F-tests. The main results indicate that the role of agricultural extension workers significantly influences the development of farmer groups, both simultaneously (F-test) and partially (T-test). The results of this study indicate that the role of extension workers as motivators, communicators, facilitators, and innovators influences the development of farmer groups.
