ANALISIS SEBARAN HARGA KENTANG DAN ELASTISITAS TRANSMISI HARGA PERIODE 2019-2024 DI JAWA TIMUR

Uneven and unstable potato prices can cause uncertainty for farmers and traders. Price transmission elasticity is very important because it can help us understand how price changes at the farmer level can affect prices at the consumer level. This study aims to determine 1) the distribution of potato prices in East Java, 2) the price transmission elasticity of potatoes in East Java, 3) potato price fluctuations in East Java. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method with secondary data. The analysis techniques used are trend analysis and linear regression using potato price data, prices at the farmer level, and at the retailer level. The results show that the pattern of potato price distribution in East Java shows an upward trend from year to year, with an average increase of 6-7% per year. The price transmission elasticity of potatoes shows that changes in potato prices at the farmer level are passed on to potato prices at the retailer level relatively completely and efficiently, with an elasticity of 0.810. Potato price fluctuations in East Java from 2019 to 2024 show that potato prices have experienced a consistent and significant increase, with a total increase of 42.9%.
