Abstract

This study discusses the efforts of the Slutwalk in Germany movement as a New Social Movement in addressing sexual violence, victim blaming, and stigma against victims. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the aim of describing Slutwalk's strategies and struggles in the context of German society. Using the concept of New Social Movement, it explains Slutwalk in practice, using various efforts, including demonstrations, fundraising, public education, the use of social media campaigns, narratives about sexual violence and women's rights, and collaboration with feminist movements and civil society groups. These efforts aim to raise public awareness and build social consciousness so that the message is widely accepted. The results of the study show that Slutwalk has succeeded in creating a public agenda for feminist discourse by challenging patriarchy, sexual violence, and victim blaming. Thus, Slutwalk can be understood as a new social movement that is effective in fighting for contemporary issues.
