Abstract

In order to determine the elements that affect the price and cost structure of the distribution chain in Krucil District, Probolinggo Regency, this study is to examine the profit margin at every point of the agricultural product distribution process, from producers to final customers. In order to find, pick, and collect samples from a network or continuous connection chain—in this example, the supply chain analysis of Arabica coffee beans—this study employs Snowball Sampling population selection. In this study, the systematic flow of the coffee bean supply chain—from coffee growers to village collectors to sub-district collectors to retailers to café merchants (Café Coffee) to coffee consumers— is followed by the Snowball Sampling approach. to calculate the quantity of samples in each group of elements or participants in the supply chain operations for Arabica coffee High margins on the nonfarmer side can reduce the share of farmers' income, especially if farmers do not have strong access to markets or price information. The Farmer Share value of 33.33% indicates that farmers only receive one-third of the final selling price paid by consumers. This shows that farmers' bargaining position in the supply chain is still relatively low, and the profits they earn are not proportional to the selling value of their products in the market. The profit and cost ratio, BCR value of 2.2 indicates that the farming business being run is in a very decent and profitable condition. This means that every Rp1 of costs incurred by farmers is able to generate Rp2.20 in revenue. This reflects efficiency in the use of inputs and general management of farming businesses. However, it is still necessary to pay attention to external risks such as price fluctuations and climate change which can affect the stability of profits
