Abstract

The video streaming application Bstation has become one of the popular digital entertainment platforms in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. However, numerous user reviews on Google Play Store indicate complaints regarding the app's performance, such as lag, freezing, and unstable access. This study aims to analyze the performance quality of the Bstation mobile application using the ISO/IEC 25010 quality model approach. A survey method was employed to collect data from 100 active Bstation users in Indonesia, with a questionnaire designed based on eight quality characteristics from ISO/IEC 25010. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The results showed that only the Reliability characteristic had a significant effect on app performance, with a Critical Ratio (CR) value of 2.071 and a probability (p) value of 0.038. Meanwhile, the other seven characteristics did not show a significant influence. These findings align with user complaints, most of which relate to the app's functional instability. Recommendations for improvement focus on optimizing the video player feature, reducing disruptive ads, and enhancing server stability. This study is expected to serve as a reference for developers in improving the quality of Bstation's services.
