HUBUNGAN KEPEMIMPINAN DIRI TERHADAP PERILAKU AGRESIVITAS PADA SUPORTER SEPAK BOLA DI INDONESIA

Supporters play an important role in enlivening matches, but are often involved in aggressive behavior towards opposing supporters. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-leadership and aggressive behavior among football supporters in Indonesia. This study used a quantitative correlational approach using simple linear regression data analysis techniques. The subjects used were 150 Indonesian football supporters, categorized as belonging to a particular supporter group, and male. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The instruments in this study used the self-leadership scale and the aggressiveness scale from Neck and Houghton & Buss and Perry. The results of the study on the relationship between self-leadership and aggressive behavior among football supporters in Indonesia showed a positive relationship (r = 0.340, p <0.001). This indicates that the higher the self-leadership, the higher the aggressive behavior that arises, and conversely, the lower the self-leadership, the lower the aggressive behavior that arises.
